2012 Favourites

What a wonderful year of books! Quickly before I change my mind, my twelve favourites of 2012 (I divided the love evenly between picture books and novels)

Yes, I am aware that Jon Klassen takes a starring role in this list 🙂

My personal challenge here is to do no more than 12 words of raving about each book. Possible? Let’s see . . .

  1. Carrie, you are book maniac, per your son, right? I’ve read & agree with all of these except for Code Name Verity-still haven’t gotten to it-on my list! And I think Bear Has A Story To Tell should be on the list too. I know I know, only 12-so hard! I think TFIOS & One for The Murphys are the best of all. Thanks for the list!

    • I’ve been called a book maniac by a few 🙂 Very funny that Bear Has a Story to Tell is your suggestion as I wavered on that one but yes, firm on the 12. For 2013, I get to make 13 choices! Code Name Verity is fantastic. My husband is reading it now. Thanks for the comment!
