The Lions of Little Rock

The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine is our current book club selection.

The Lions of Little Rock

Sometimes friendship is an act of bravery. Marlee and Liz put friendship above everything else in this powerful novel set in Little Rock Arkansas in 1958. This is a time of racial segregation and the beginnings of change. Historical fiction at its finest.

    • I find it really difficult to say goodbye to some characters too. I would love you to read Glory Be by Augusta Scattergood if you haven’t already. I think you would love it. The main character has a lot of spunk.
