The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine is our current book club selection.
Sometimes friendship is an act of bravery. Marlee and Liz put friendship above everything else in this powerful novel set in Little Rock Arkansas in 1958. This is a time of racial segregation and the beginnings of change. Historical fiction at its finest.
If Marlee and Liz lived in 2013 they would be BFFS

Of course I had to open my book and find this page. What did that line mean to you?
i feel like there should be a sequel because ends too sooooooon! (as all books do)
I find it really difficult to say goodbye to some characters too. I would love you to read Glory Be by Augusta Scattergood if you haven’t already. I think you would love it. The main character has a lot of spunk.
Absolutely loved being a part of the Book Club for the final book! Thank you for welcoming me in to the group! I loved reading along with you guys…..and loved the rich discussions! Can’t wait until next year!!!
Ms. Wilks We loved your enthusiasm! And we are thrilled that you will continue with us!
